This project draws its primary inspiration from the breathtaking landscape of the Amalfi Coast, specifically the small seaside town of Conca dei Marini. The area is celebrated for its vibrant palette, hand-painted ceramic tiles, and the distinctive architectural harmony between nature and built form.
The villa is conceived as a summer residence for a family, designed to foster a continuous dialogue between interior and exterior spaces. Its generous terrace, oriented toward the sea, frames panoramic views of the coastline and becomes the central element of the architectural composition.
The design approach emphasizes light, texture, and local craftsmanship. Traditional Mediterranean materials—such as terracotta, stone, and majolica tiles—are reinterpreted in a contemporary manner to achieve an atmosphere of understated elegance. The result is a space that reflects both the authentic spirit of the Amalfi Coast and a modern sensitivity to comfort and functionality.
